Let’s talk about the latest project updates since the chat server situation. It’s mostly been things with N Masters and NovaFan Games. Makendo Central hasn’t changed that much besides what was shared in the previous blog update so I won’t talk much about it this time.
N Masters has mostly been getting content in the form of videos through the YouTube channel. I’ve been trying to expand the content so it’s not only Splatoon Splatfest stuff. There’s been a few PSO2 videos too, including both guides and playthrough or gameplay of specific content that should serve as guide as well. The New Super Lucky Tale’s VODs from my Twitch 100% playthrough is also now being uploaded, which should be relatively easy content to share there since it’s things that are already recorded.
In the upcoming days, there’s also several Multiversus rift mode videos planned to be uploaded. They still need to be edited but the material is mostly recorded already. Additionally, I’ve been getting into actually using my press or content creator access in Keymailer and it’s been a bit of a success overall, so expect even more variety in types of games that will be showcased. Some of the videos have been uploaded already.
Together with the video content, though, a few reviews and first impression articles are planned for the site. These are still being worked on but I hope they can get published during the next weeks before the year ends.
On NovaFan Games, a lot of work is being done to update the presentation and restart working on game development. To begin, I updated and made a completely new logo for NovaFan Games. This was needed to be done since the source files for the old logo were completely lost and the only files I had were low in resolution. I really wouldn’t have been able to use the old logo much. The new logo was done based on the old one but more thought out and with more careful attention to being able to use it on different kind of presentations. This was a similar process to the one I did for the new and current N Masters and Makendo Central logos. I have also worked on updating the social network accounts of NovaFan Games and preparing them to be up to date with stuff. Of course, the new logo was uploaded on them already and a new banner image was set too. So now you can follow NovaFan Games on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Odysee.
As for future plans, I’ve shared this on the NFG Discord server but the current game development plan is to first release Tower Climber, which will be a small game to help me get back into game development. Afterwards, there are plans to start working on Rie’s Candy Catch 2 and Project NSD. More details will be shared later in the NFG site. Talking about that, the NFG website will be getting a update soon, I hope. It’s pretty old and needs to be redone or redesigned in some way. Once that is done and Tower Climber is released, I’ll start releasing more info on the characters of Project NSD. There’s also going to be more teasers about the game and new graphics or art that will be shared. In fact, I recently teased something on NFG social accounts and I’m also trying to see if I can get a small piece of art done before the end of this year.
Finally, just a bit about Makendo Central. First of all, all work for Makendo Central’s website is pushed for next year. This would be at least after NovaFan Games site is updated. But what I wanted to share is that in the meantime, you are free to join or share me any kind of Makeruna Makendo content through social platforms. For example, this could be through X, Bluesky, or the Discord server. Specially if you make any kind of fan art, I will be more than happy to see it and reshare it. I’m still undecided on how the Discord server and site will be organized but I’m considering making a forum on the site since we moved from Guilded and Discord’s forum feature isn’t that great as a substitute for an actual forum. The only thing that will be touched for now on Makendo Central will be updating the links on the current placeholder site.
I want to apologize for the lack of posts during the year. This post was actually planned to be shared since at least a month ago but things have been busy lately. Hopefully things go smoother from now on. I will soon be uploading another post that focuses more on the financial aspect of things and how you can support these projects, which would be quite helpful.
