Yep, I hate Luigi. Ruined the whole thing in the last turn. (and then in the last bonus star) ? … Maybe this is Luigi’s revenge after he messed up in the other game and pretty much gave me the star.

New cheat codes found for Makeruna! Makendou
When I started with the redesign of Makendou Central, I decided to do another quick Google search to see if there’s anything new to find about the franchise. Mainly, I browsed to see if there was any new fan art to be included in the gallery section that was about to open.
I did find a few new things but the most interesting one was this Japanese site that included cheat codes for many games (including a few for the original Makeruna! Makendou). And a lot of them seem to be previously unknown.
I’ve translated the two codes that were available for Makeruna! Makendou and shared them below.

When the online Mariothon started, I was actually afraid it would be another situation like Brawl’s online. Glad that wasn’t the case.
Better example of the sound emulation bug on the NES Switch Online app
This is what I shared on Twitter a few days ago.
Sound emulation bug when the burn-in protection triggers. It seems to happen with every #NES game. #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/xYbZLtuUeM

Since this was recorded through the Switch, though, you can’t really see when the burn-in protection triggers. So here’s a video of the bug but recorded through a capture card, where you can clearly see (and more easily hear) the glitch that I’m talking about.
The glitch was partially fixed on the current version which was released recently (October 10, 2018). There’s still some sound distortion but it’s now very hard to notice it.

Mario Tennis Aces keeps being amazing
And yes, that’s a sarcasm. The following video was recorded from the latest version that was just released. (v 2.0.1)
Yes, the Boo co-op challenge is over now. But instead of getting an in-game error telling you that the event is over, the game just crashes. ?
How to play (part of) Super Mario Party in handheld mode
First of all, I want to point out that this is not a way to enable some sort of secret handheld mode. This solution is more of a “think outside the box” solution and it only works efficiently for a few minigames. The trick is the following.
This is what portable mode normally looks like:

So what you need to do is the following:

And that’s it. So while you keep holding the Switch with the joycon that is still attached to it, you can use your other hand to play with the free joycon. By the way, this also works for Mario Tennis Aces Swing Mode (or, I guess, any other game that requires using the joycon this way)
Of course, this trick wouldn’t be needed if NDcube had implemented a way to only play the minigames that only use buttons when it detects that the system is being used in handheld mode. But well, we all know that probably won’t happen, even though they did disable the rumble based minigames if you have controller rumble disabled at system level.
